The 3rd Annual Lantern Walk

Join us for a FREE evening event, open to all ages, celebrating the change of seasons! The darker and colder days ahead can be hard for adults and children alike, but we are bringing a sense of joy and wonder to this time with our third annual lantern walk!
We will sing songs, talk about the tradition of Lantern Walks around the world, and take a short walk around the park with our lanterns as day turns to night. After the walk, join us for a cup of hot chocolate and a sweet treat!
We will offer DIY lantern kits for sale (but feel free to bring your own) – they are the perfect project for you to complete ahead of this event!
Meet us near the shelter on the west end of Washington Park (near the bandshell) – we will start and end our walk from there.
*Please note that this event starts around 4:45pm – our calendar system only has half hour time increments.*
